THE TEAM DOES NOT HAVE TIME TO TRAIN CANDIDATES ON THE FINANCIAL AND BROKERAGE PLATFORM INDUSTRY AND THAT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS JOB.This team supports the crypto and PL business platform business for Green Meadows, they have 24/7 on call they manage the infrastructure and the application side.They do level 1/level 2 support.Java NodeJS are primary.They really want someone from a brokerage platform (the challenge they are having is not understanding order flow and brokerage backend experience).AWS/ Microservices.On call production support. - on call hours - Support hours (start at 9am EST to 9pm EST) that 12 hours is split between 2 time zones. The end goal is to split all 3 time zones into three 8 hour shifts. EST/CST starts at 9am and they take 6 hours and then hand over to PST and they take 8 hours. When THE CANDIDATE IS ON CALL there, is a rotation once a month and remaining time NOT ON CALL will work normal office hours and follow hybrid onsite schedule.The Purpose of This RoleWe are looking for a highly motivated individual to be part of our New Cloud-based Brokerage Platform's Production Support team.The Principal Application Support Engineer/Full-stack Developer will be responsible for On call Production support of Brokerage applications on the cloud.Our ever-evolving technology stack ensures a phenomenal learning culture in the team. We are always exploring new technologies and new ways to continually provide value to our customers.The Expertise You HaveExtensive experience in Brokerage application development and support with strong proven understanding of languages like Java/Spring MVC, Node JS, GOExperience in microservices architecture & development for cloudExtensive experience in performance tuning, monitoring, solving application issues in a EKS infrastructureExtensive experience with setting up Application alerting and monitoring in a cloud environmentExperience handling On-call production support and debugging application issuesBrokerage back-office systems knowledge would be a plusFlexibility and adaptability to learn and support new technologies on the cloudStrong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skillsAbility to effectively multi-task and manage your time, and the ability to work independently as well as within a team environmentEducation and CertificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferredMSCE or A+ certification is required, with MSCE preferredAWS certifications preferred (AWS SysOps, DevOps)
