A renowned private equity firm based in Manhattan is seeking an exceptional EA Manager for a 9-month maternity cover, starting mid to late February.This is an exciting opportunity to lead a talented team of 12 Executive Assistants (EAs) and play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of the business support function. You will also collaborate closely with the Global EA Manager based in the firm's London office.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam LeadershipManage and provide guidance to a team of 12 EAs with varying levels of experience, fostering a high-performing and collaborative environment.Process ImprovementDrive initiatives to enhance processes and workflows, ensuring the EAs deliver exceptional support to internal stakeholders.Performance ManagementConduct performance reviews, hold regular one-to-one check-ins, manage absence and leave, and organize team coverage as needed.ReportingMonitor and report on team performance and identify areas for continuous improvement.Stakeholder CollaborationWork collaboratively with peers and senior stakeholders to align on priorities and deliver seamless support across the firm.ConfidentialityUphold the highest levels of confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of the role.Key RequirementsA minimum of 2 years of EA management experience, managing a team of EAs; preferably within a fast-paced corporate environment.High emotional intelligence (EQ) with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships across the business.Experience in financial services, consulting or business servicesStrong stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to balance competing priorities and navigate complex demands.A proactive, organized, and solutions-oriented approach to leadership and problem-solving.Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in sensitive matters.If you're a natural leader with a passion for empowering teams and ensuring excellence in executive support, we'd love to hear from you.
