Stand Up Live Desert Ridge is looking for a seasoned Executive Chef / Kitchen Manager! This is high volume, fast paced and like nothing you've seen before!Our goal as a company is to create great environments for exceptional experiences. Copper Blues Desert Ridge & Desert Ridge Improv needs an innovator in the kitchen who wants to be a part of something special serving over 1,500 comedy fans and another 1,500+ lead singers and event goers every week!The Executive Chef / Kitchen Manager position at Copper Blues Desert Ridge & Desert Ridge Improv is an instrumental part of the concept creation and menu development process . We're looking for a leader who can inspire their team to believe in the experiences they're creating.As the Kitchen Manager, your culinary vision is the first step in building unique concepts and the implementation and follow through of your processes will maintain that vision for the restaurant's existence.Role Responsibilities: You'll be responsible for the daily operations of kitchen, station production and daily paperwork, execution of live checklist, procedures and more!Minimum Requirements:Culinary experience: 5 years (Required)Cooking: 5 years (Required)Knowledge of high volume kitchen operationsAbility to run all kitchen operationsKnowledge of food costs, labor costs, and product costsSkill in cooking, cost controls, and managementCrew development, and crew training proceduresKnowledge of kitchen sanitation proceduresComputer knowledge including Microsoft Word and ExcelPosition requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feetMust be able to lift and/or move up to 150 lbs.Essential SkillsAbility to cultivate a culture where guests and staff are passionate about our conceptsProven record of thriving in high stress situations while overcoming unforeseen hurdlesFive years successfully managing a highly rated restaurant while consistently exceeding goalsAn expert in all aspects of restaurant finance, inventory control, HR procedures and business operationsDemonstrates an aptitude for developing, coaching and leading BOH managers while promoting a positive culture and work environmentAdvanced level of food and beverage knowledgeShift/Schedule:Wednesday-Sunday1pm-10pmOnsite, in-person role
