POSITION PURPOSEThe Application Systems Analyst will design, maintain, document, test and enhance computerized related systems, performing analytical functions and required configurations to maintain Fulcrum's applications.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES;Works with other departments to assess current service levels and understand requested program improvements and enhancements.Recommends systems and programs that will reduce the complexity and cost of applications, while increasing efficiency. Works with developers and analysts concerning procedures, capabilities, limitations, security, process improvement business requirements, and problems related to software applications.Responsible for providing system configuration, maintaining security, testing, and tracking to meet identified and prioritized business needs, client contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.Draft technical documentation for new and modified systems for business users, development, and analysis staff. Handles inquiries from business users of the application systems.Develops and maintains records necessary for auditing purposes; provides copies of all requested files, documentation, and reports to state and internal auditors as needed.Develop and maintain positive working relationships with software vendors to advance requirements, resolve issues, and coordinate upgrades of applications. Performs other related duties as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: (Minimum qualifications needed for this position)Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.Two years of experience in business or educational programming required.SKILLS/ABILITIES:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for evaluating systems and designing efficient solutions.Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate with operational teams to develop and implement business requirements.Understanding of and experience with software and system configuration.Understanding of basic TSQL code for troubleshooting.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Organized, with attention to detail.Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to predict potential user and software issues.
