RSUI has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and passionate student to join our Actuarial department as a Summer 2025 Actuarial Intern! This internship offers the unique opportunity to work with our experienced, collaborative Actuarial team on day-to-day activities and special projects. You can expect hands-on experience applying mathematical skills to assess risk, plus participation in meetings and informational sessions to learn about the wholesale insurance model and how our Actuarial team helps drive company success. Our high performance culture is driven by our core values of People, Service, and Integrity, plus collaboration, positivity, and a continuous learning mindset.What You'll Accomplish:Provide support for reserving and pricing processes.Prepare and cleanse data using SQL and Excel.Identify potential data issues and conduct research and analysis to determine their impact.Assist in optimization of actuarial processes.Participate in meetings and informational sessions.Work with the team on special projects and assignments, as needed.What We're Looking For:Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or a related field; master's students may also be considered. Expected graduation date of Fall 2025 or later. Passed at least one Actuarial exam.Proficient experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.Experience with programming languages and/or databases (SQL, R, VBA, Python) is a plus.Strong written and verbal communication skills.A passion for learning - ability to "be a sponge" and try new things.Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask.Enjoys working both independently and as part of a team.Work onsite from our Buckhead office a minimum of three days per week.Interested?
