We are partnering with a client seeking a skilled Accounting/Operations Specialist to join their team. This role will collaborate with accounting, operations, and sales departments to ensure compliance, enhance efficiency, and support overall profitability.This position will process multiple components of accounts payable and receivable, assist with merchant reconciliations, provide support to sales and marketing, assist in administering third party warehouse processes and staff, assist with legal compliance and support general business operations.The ideal candidate has experience with accounting and POS software systems and has the ability to manage accounting and operational tasks efficiently. This is an in-office position located in Napa, California.Accounting Department ResponsibilitiesManage A/P software and perform all accounts payable tasks (vendor management, check runs, ACH, wire).Implement fraud prevention measures across banking systems and email.Conduct A/R collections and merchant reconciliations.Record financial transactions and manage corporate office operations.Operations Department ResponsibilitiesProcess domestic and international orders, resolve shipping issues.Submit purchase orders, aiming to bring processing in-house.Oversee warehouse operations, SKUs, and communication.Perform monthly inventory counts, pick up and ship samples for Sales and Marketing.Manage incoming mail, scan to appropriate parties.Support legal compliance with the Director of Operations.Generate customer billback credits and optimize operational systems for cost-efficiency.Improve customer service and inventory control processes.Evaluate suppliers for cost-effective deals and strong relationships.RequirementsStrong customer service, organizational, and communication skills.High attention to detail, accuracy, and inventory tracking.Reliable and trustworthy.Accounting Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.Proven ability to manage accounts payable/receivable and maintain accurate financial records.Strong proficiency in financial data entry, analysis, and reporting.Operational Ability to optimize operational processes for cost efficiency and compliance.Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills to improve workflow and service quality.
