The Construction Operations Managerplays a critical role in overseeing and coordinating all stages of construction operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to project timelines. This individual will be responsible for scheduling, supervising on-site teams, resolving production challenges, and implementing operational strategies to align construction activities with the company's goals and objectives. With a strong background in project management and exceptional leadership skills, the Construction Operations Manager will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.Key Responsibilities1.Supervision and Coordination:• Supervise all stages of construction production to ensure efficiency, quality, and adherence to the project timeline.• Schedule and assign tasks for all supervisors and workers on the site, ensuring optimal workforce utilization and productivity.• Coordinate closely with construction managers, engineers, site supervisors, and other key stakeholders to address and resolve production challenges effectively.2.Scheduling and Workforce Management:• Develop, maintain, and oversee comprehensive schedules for all site activities, including specific assignments for supervisors and workers.• Monitor daily and weekly progress to ensure that timelines are met and adjust schedules as necessary to address delays or obstacles.3.Operational Strategy and Implementation:• Develop and implement operational strategies to drive efficiency and productivity while maintaining project quality and safety standards.• Ensure that all construction activities align with the company's overall goals and objectives.4.Leadership and Team Management:• Provide strong leadership to on-site teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and results-driven performance.• Manage team dynamics, resolve conflicts, and mentor team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.5.Performance Monitoring and Improvement:• Continuously monitor and analyze site performance to identify areas for improvement in processes, productivity, and resource allocation.• Implement corrective actions and innovative solutions to enhance overall operational performance.6.Quality Control and Compliance:• Ensure that all construction activities comply with company standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.• Conduct site inspections to verify adherence to quality and safety standards.7.Resource Management and Problem Solving:• Oversee the allocation and utilization of resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to avoid wastage and cost overruns.• Quickly address and resolve operational challenges or unforeseen issues that may arise on-site.Qualifications and ExperienceExperience:Minimum of 3+ years in construction project management, site operations, or a similar leadership role.Education:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.Technical Skills:Proficiency in project management tools, scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera), and construction documentation.Leadership:Proven ability to lead and manage teams, drive results, and inspire confidence among workers and stakeholders.Project Management Expertise:Strong background in coordinating multiple projects, managing schedules, and ensuring timely completion.Strategic Thinking:Ability to develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.Performance Analysis:Skilled in monitoring and analyzing operational performance and applying insights to drive continuous improvement.Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination with team members and stakeholders.Problem Solving:Demonstrated ability to address and resolve production challenges in a fast-paced environment.This role requires a motivated, results-driven professional who is passionate about leading construction operations and contributing to the success of projects.
