A great UHY client is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain, automotive experience, and experience with front to end supply chain processes (with inventory control being a requirement).The Supply Chain Manager role is an onsite position. This is a client direct hire position.Supply Chain ManagerResponsibilitiesWork with the Operations Team to deliver great products, on time and cost effectively.Efficiently manage the entire Supply Chain, from order entry to customer receipt.Create Sales Order/ enter Purchase Orders.Monitor Daily/Weekly and all future EDI requirements.Open and close Work Orders (WO) ensuring all labor and material units and costs are accurate. Investigate, correct and systemically address any WO issues.Work closely with Buyer/ Planner to Maintain a balance of Raw, WIP, and finished goods material inventories for consistent flow of product for leveled production. Maximize the use of our ERP system for full operational efficiency (standard lot quantities, safety stock, re-order points, lead times, etc.)Communicate to the customer any logistics or manufacturing issues that might negatively impact the customer and create/present recovery plans.Maintain 5S and Safety.Work shoulder to shoulder with Operations to create/manage the production schedule.Identify and address any potential inventory issues and perform cycle counts as needed working with our Accounting Department.Monitor all customer systems to meet customer delivery requirements.Monitor United States and Europe, Ford/ GM production, service and prototype customer portals daily to proactively identify and address issues.Set up and manage all incoming vendor shipments.All activities assigned by my manager.Work with Program Managers to create routers.Work with Controller on inventory accuracy.Supply Chain Manager ExperienceBachelor's Degree in supply chain, business, operations, engineering or a related field preferred5+ years of related supply chain experience, including purchasing supply planning, inventory, shipping / receiving, work ordersManagement experience preferredAutomotive and / or defense industry experience preferredKnowledge of Global Shop Solutions a plus.Materials Management experienceUHY Advisors'?
