At TalentWealth Recruiting we assist independent Wealth Management firms across the country in hiring top professionals to join their practices. Our client in Cedar Knolls, NJ is an independent wealth management team that manages over $280M in assets and is seeking a sharp, motivated, and detail-oriented Associate Financial Advisor to join their team.The Associate Financial Advisor works with the Advisory team on all aspects of wealth management, including managing client relationships, identifying and meeting client needs, and supporting the implementation of financial plans. The Financial Service Advisor is not expected to create new client introductions, however, the Financial Service Advisor is responsible for maintaining the team's client service model, directing the planning and onboarding processes, and deepening the client relationship with a subset of already established clients.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Support the Senior Advisor to further develop and enhance existing client relationships.Act as a key point of contact for clients on any non-administrative requests/needsAssist with and attend client meetings and discussions covering investment strategy, account performance, and market developments.Prepare client meeting materials including financial planning, asset allocation, and investment performance reports.Work with the Senior Advisor and Operations Team to follow up on all outstanding items from client meetings.Assist in the execution of client recommendationsAssist the Senior Advisor in evaluating client financial strategies and decisions by conducting financial analyses on a wide range of investment, tax, estate, and financial planning topicsManage all cash activity and money movement for client cash reserve accountsAssist the Client Advisory team as neededQuarterly and ad-hoc performance reports for advisorsManage workflow and prioritize projectsMonitor the team's client service model.Requirements:Bachelor's degree or higherFINRA series 7, 66 (or 65,63)Certified Financial Planner designation a plusExperience with goals-based planning software a plusExcellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and listening skillsAbility to understand and explain sophisticated financial concepts and issuesStrong problem-solving skillsDetail-oriented, accurate, organized, able to set priorities, self-starterFinancial planning/wealth management acumen, judgment, and experiencePassionate about doing what is best for clients and limiting conflicts inherent in the broader industryTeam player, collaborative, able to work with and through othersDesire/ability to work successfully in a small company environmentProficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
