We are looking for an Engineering Technician to join our Digital Print Research & Development team in Dayton, OH. In this role, you will work with other technicians, engineers, cross-functional team members and suppliers to design and develop of our commercial digital inkjet printing products. Primary tasks include development of Kodak's unique inkjet technology and writing systems. Travel to customer, supplier, and partner sites may be needed at times. Essential skills/duties:Proficient in basic computer software including Microsoft Office including use of MS Excel for data entry, data analysis, and plotting. Demonstrated troubleshooting skills involving mechanical, electrical, and software issues with a complex, integrated system Experience in executing test plans, including collection of data, summarizing test results, and documentation of testing. Experience with both lab and bench level testing as well as integrated system testing. Demonstrated written communication skills, particularly in developing, reviewing, and refining technical procedures and documentation. Maintain a clean and efficient work environment. Arrive to work, meetings, and appointments on time and as scheduled. Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures. Desirable skills/duties:Basic understanding regarding operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting digital printing presses Expert-level ability at operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting inkjet writing systems. Experience and proficiency with LabVIEW or other data acquisition and/or software programming applications. Willingness to work individually and as a member of a team to analyze complex integrated systems to debug and determine root cause of defects within the system. QualificationsTechnical Associates degree or equivalent experience or military training
