Position SummaryThe Membership Data Manager will ensure the accuracy and integrity of data in the Salesforce database, including tracking donor contributions and reporting metrics. This key member of the development team will serve as a Salesforce report expert, providing accurate reports and data analysis as requested by Development Team and CHM Leadership. This role will also lead the Development Project Plan in Airtable, along with additional department support.ResponsibilitiesDatabase ManagementServe as a Salesforce report expert, providing accurate reports and data analysis as requested by Development Team and CHM Leadership.Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data in the Salesforce database, including tracking donor contributions and reporting for the following projects: Pledge Reminders; Donor Wall/Website/Annual Report List; Tax Receipts; Monthly Fundraising Progress Reports.Responsible for information tracking, reporting, and evaluation related to corporate sponsor stewardship initiatives, programs, and benefits.Development Project PlanExpert-level proficiency in Airtable for tracking projects and deadlines.Lead the ongoing creation and implementation of the rolling development plan assuring that projects and tasks are appropriate, complete, and executed on time.AdministrativeCreate Purchase Orders for the Dept. as needed.Complete monthly credit card reconciliation for the CDO.Point of contact for Membership email inquiries.Perform other duties as assigned to support the development team and museum objectives.Other ResponsibilitiesUphold the professional standards of his/her field and always act in a manner that is consistent with the best interests of the museum and will protect and enhance its reputation and standing within the community of museums.Show respect for coworkers and visitors and an understanding of and appreciation for the diversity of the museum's staff, volunteers, and audiences.Aspire to excellence in all aspects of his/her work and serves as a model for others.Maintain confidentiality.Suggest methods for improvement of job responsibilities and professional growth.Adhere to all CHM protocols, procedures, rules, and policies.Qualifications and SkillsEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree.Previous experience in nonprofit membership coordination, development, or fundraising roles.Technical SkillsStrong experience managing donor databases and tracking software (Salesforce or similar).Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).Experience with project management tools, particularly Airtable.Soft SkillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with a high attention to detail.Exceptional customer service skills.Strong organizational and time management abilities to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate needs and proactively address issues.Personality TraitsHighly collaborative and able to work across multiple teams.Self-motivated, with a positive and professional demeanor.BenefitsFully sponsored Medical, dental, and vision benefitsPartially sponsored Health dependent costsHealth Savings Accounts (HSA) with employer contributions403(b) retirement plan with 1:1 employer matchingGenerous PTO (Paid Time Off) benefitsFully sponsored Life and Disability InsuranceEmployee Discounts in museum store and onsite cafeAbout CHMAt the Computer History Museum our mission is to decode technology"”its computing past, digital present, and future impact on humanity.
