Equipment Technician

HotFoot has partnered with a global advanced chip manufacturing organization hiring motivated individuals that would like to join the semiconductor industry.Position: Equipment Technician (90% Cleanroom/10% Office)Type: Direct HireTraining Schedule: Monday - Friday 8A-5P (3-6 months)Schedule: 12-hour shifts, day or night shifts, 3-4 days per weekLocation: Phoenix, Arizona (North Phoenix)Compensation: $25/hr to start, built-in OT with 3/4 scheduleResponsibilitiesConduct routine preventive maintenance on advanced semiconductor equipment in a cleanroom environment (90% of your working time).Perform quality audits and visual checks post-maintenance to ensure standards are met.Follow SOPs and troubleshoot the factory system and equipment error alerts.Analyze Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts to monitor and maintain process quality, addressing defects as needed.Manage and enhance the spare parts inventory system, overseeing the lifecycle of parts.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and ongoing skills development.Transfer of wafers from department to department. (Lifting up to 50 lbs)Ability to walk long distances.Utilize procedures and SOP's to perform duties daily.Communicate effectively with other departments.Perform other duties as assigned.Skills & QualificationsHigh school Diploma OR GED requiredExperienced working in a cleanroom environment or have prior exposure to a cleanroom environment is a PLUS!Electrical and maintenance exposure or experience is a HUGE PLUS.Interest in learning innovation and joining the semiconductor industry.Skilled with basic Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMS and Outlook.Benefits401(k) and matching optionsComprehensive healthcare coverageCompressed work week after trainingGenerous paid time off & sick leaveOn site gym, food truck, cafeteria
