Kao Specialties Americas (KSA) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kao Corporation, Tokyo, Japan. Kao Specialties Americas LLC is a specialty chemicals manufacturing company with three major business segments (1) Oleo Chemicals, (2) Performance Chemicals and (3) Specialty Chemicals including Imaging Materials and Aroma Chemicals.Responsible for negotiating pricing and shipment of direct materials. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and execute essential duties. NOTE: THIS POSITION IS DOES NOT INCLUDE RELOCATIONResponsibilities· Issue purchase orders for raw materials and packaging· Monitor raw material demand in SAP on a daily basis· Expedite raw materials and packaging as needed to cover production demand· Source new materials for product development· Lead Supplier Qualification Program· Support Operations and Planning DepartmentsQualificationsBachelor's degreeExcellent written and verbal communication skills2 - 4 years of experience in the field or equivalent experience in purchasing, inventory, or supply chain managementExperience using the Procurement Module of SAP or an equivalent Enterprise Resource Planning software (ERP) is preferred.
