Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Division Manager who can drive growth, lead a small team, and thrive in a nimble and diverse environment. The Construction Division Manager will be the face of the division to the Customer, including Owners and decision makers. The manager will oversee all aspects of construction, from pre-construction planning to project closeout and play a critical role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of high-quality building projects, while maintaining a safe work environment. This position will report to the President.Responsibilities:Lead the pre-construction planning process, including budgeting, scheduling, and subcontractor selectionBe the face of the Construction Division with internal and external stakeholders, including the Customer and their representatives.Develop and implement construction plans and schedules, and monitor progress to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budgetOversee construction activities and ensure that all work is performed in accordance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. Conduct site inspections, and address any issues or concerns that arise during constructionManage subcontractors and construction personnel, and ensure that all work is performed in accordance with contract specificationsCoordinate and communicate effectively with customers, stakeholders, and other relevant parties to ensure that projects are completed to customer satisfactionRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field or equivalent experienceMinimum of 5 years of relevant experience in construction with a proven history of delivering projects on time and within budgetProven experience as a Construction Manager or an equivalent roleExperience scaling teams or divisions, identifying new opportunities, improving processes.Strong understanding of construction management, budgets, scheduling, and complianceAbility to mentor and inspire a diverse teamComfortable in a nimble fast-moving environmentExcellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skillsStrong understanding of construction methods, materials, OSHA safety standards and legal codeProficient in construction management softwareProficient in Microsoft office software including MS ProjectCAD ability is a plusCertified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plusStrong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions quickly
