A Community Health Center in Los Angeles is currently seeking a LCSW to join their team.About the Opportunity:Start Date: ASAPSchedule: Monday - FridayHours: 8:30a - 5:30pPatient Population: All ages - medically underservedResponsibilities:The LCSW will:Assist the primary care provider in recognizing, treating and managing mental health & psychosocial issues.Conduct client intakes, focusing on diagnostic and functional evaluations.Deliver focused intervention for clients who are in need of mental health services.Provide consultation to clinic management and other team members about behavioral health services, suggested areas of outcome, and program evaluation.Assist in project- related communication with the governmental agencies, i.e. Department of Mental Health.Develop and maintain knowledge and bank of local resources for outside referrals.Qualifications:Valid licensure in California as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)Able to write and speak fluent Spanish and EnglishDesired Skills:3 years of clinical experience as a licensed clinician, working with diverse multi-ethnic communities.Demonstrated ability and experience to supervise & mentor ASWsProject & personnel management experienceValid California driver's license and proof of Auto Insurance with daily access to a reliable vehicleStrong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Solid written, oral, and public communication skillsAbility to be flexible with schedule on as needed basis
