In 2021, Delta was also recognized by CDP with leadership level ratings for its substantial contribution to climate change and water security issues and named Supplier Engagement Leader for its continuous development of a sustainable value chain.BuyerEssential Duties/Responsibilities:Process goods or service purchase order that meet the quantity, quality and lead-time requirementPrepare purchase orders by verifying forecast, stock, MOQ, and lead timeFollow up with opened PO and shipment from vendorsVerify goods receipt with items ordered; authorize payment to vendor; problems solving with vendorLocal vendor resourcing with new projectNegotiate the contract and priceRequirements: Education/Qualification/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Experience:Bachelor degreeMinimum of 3 years of commodity purchase experienceProficiency in using MS Excel / PowerPoint /Words/OutlookGood in verbal and written communication skills, mandarin speaking and reading are preferableStrategic sourcing, cost analyses, and contract negotiations (purchasing / service agreements) skillsAbility to identify purchasing process issues and drive process improvementAbility to work independently on multiple tasks and projects with various stakeholdersKnowledge of manufacturing process like molding, stamping, castings, machining is a plusSAP and MRP software experience are preferableMandarin speaking is highly desired
