The Estate Administration Attorney will be responsible for managing the administration of estates, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of probate procedures, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. If you are a detail-oriented and proactive professional with a passion for estate law, we invite you to apply and contribute to our commitment to providing high-quality legal services.Responsibilities· Manage the entire estate administration process from inception to closure.· Prepare and file probate documents, petitions, and related court forms.· Coordinate communication with courts, clients, beneficiaries, and other relevant parties.· Conduct legal research on probate laws, regulations, and case precedents.· Analyze complex legal issues related to estate administration and provide strategic recommendations.· Review legal documents, including wills, trusts, and other estate planning instruments.· Prepare correspondence, affidavits, and other legal documents as needed.· Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on the status of estate administration.· Address client inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.· Oversee the management of estate assets, including financial accounts, real estate, and personal property.· Work closely with financial institutions, appraisers, and other professionals involved in the estate settlement process.· Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws governing estate administration.· Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to streamline workflow and ensure efficient case management.QualificationsMinimum 3 years experience in estate administrationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesJuris Doctor (J.D.) degree and a license to practice law in New York State
