This role is integral to our mission of providing exceptional financial analysis and consulting services.The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing multiple financial analysis projects at the same time. At month's end, you will be responsible for budget, projection, and actual variance commentary.ResponsibilitiesPrepare expense plans and monthly forecastsAccurately update systems to actual results, forecasts, and budgetsAnalyze and provide commentary on variancesCommunicate with vendors and ensure on-time processing of vendor allowancesEnsure compliance with internal and external accounting standards and financial policiesManage and review Unliquidated Obligations for our clientApprove invoices and assist in the reconciliation process for specific program officesGenerate reports and briefings on Unliquidated ObligationsCoordinate with third-party vendors regarding ULO balancesDraft memos for MIPR's and obligations to third-party vendorsSupport the creation of Purchase Requests for new funding and modifications to contractsDesired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance or AccountingMinimum of 4 years of relevant professional experienceExpertise in Microsoft ExcelStrong experience in reconciliationExcellent analytical and multi-tasking skillsHigh attention to detail with the ability to work flexibly in a demanding environmentIndependent working capability as well as effectiveness in a teamOutstanding verbal and written communication skillsExceptional customer service skills and knowledge of government obligations and spending, including Unliquidated Obligation balances
