As pioneers in fuel management and resiliency for emergency generators in data centers and critical facilities, ESI is experiencing rapidly scaling growth.POSITION SUMMARYWe are seeking a Manager, Field Services, to join our high-performance team and be a part of our journey to shape the future of the Northern Virginia area data center community by delivering resilient and sustainable solutions that make a difference.The ideal candidate is highly skilled and have demonstrated successful performance in developing and managing a service team, ideally in diesel fuel related mechanical, controls and SCR (pollution control/reduction systems) facility work and have a proven track record of profitable revenue growth. The Manager, Field Services will be responsible for developing and managing a service team, leveraging strong customer relationships to drive new revenue streams, oversee on-site services, provide exceptional leadership and upholding the highest standards of customer service excellence.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESMANAGING SERVICE DEPARTMENT ACTIVITIES AND PROVIDING TECHNICAL LEADERSHIP: From project scheduling, customer relations, project management, fleet management and technician training you'll oversee, and participate as needed in all service department activities and provide your expertise.IDENTIFYING PROFITABLE PROJECT OPPORTUNITIESYour role will involve leveraging current and new customer relationships to gain new service contracts and equipment sales opportunities.MAINTAINING QUALITY STANDARDS: Interface with ESI's QC Manager to ensure all service department activities align with ESI's ISO 9001 quality standards.PROJECT MANAGEMENT FOR CONTRACT SERVICES: You will manage projects related to fuel contract services, emergency fuel management services, and SCR services.KEY TEAM JOB TASKSMechanical and control system projects.Maintenance, upgrades and repairs, and consulting support for new business.Managing SCR start-up and life-cycle services.Working with electrical power systems, electrical testing systems, CAD, Selective Catalytic Reductio (SCR).Environmental Compliance - DEQ: SCR/Stack Testing, UST Compliance Testing, ATG testing.Proven experience leading service team operations, personal development, and service team operations.QUALIFICATIONS Working experience with mechanical, controls, electrical systems, SCRs, testing, environmental compliance, and AutoCAD.BS, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.5-7 years relevant experience including team and project leadership in a manufacturing or field services environment supporting equipment manufacture or services for large system generators, building facilities management, HVAC, or control systems.ATTRIBUTES DESIREDPositive and personable high-performance team member.Servant leader who demonstrates integrity, reliability, and stability.Focused and driven, seeking to grow and increase knowledge.Exemplary character and integrity.WE OFFERESI Total Fuel Management offers several competitive benefits, including:Casual but professional atmosphere with the opportunity for personal and professional growthPaid vacation (after 90 days of employment), paid holidays per ESI Holiday schedule and paid sick daysHealth insurance401(k) Retirement planFlexible Spending Account for medical and dependent care expenses5 days of paid time off for qualified volunteer serviceCompany match to contributions or donations to 501 (c) (3) organizations up to $750Profit sharing, eligible after one year of employment.
