Job Title: PR & Communications Coordinator (Climate-Tech)Location: Santa Monica, CACompany: Carbon Ridge, IncType: ContractCompensation: PaidAbout Us: Carbon Ridge develops carbon capture technology for the Maritime and Offshore industries. CR's patent-pending Onboard Carbon Capture & Storage ("OCCS") solution provides a low-cost and near-term solution to significantly reduce the intensity of carbon dioxide (CO2) and other greenhouse gases (GHGs) onboard large maritime vessels and offshore operating assets.Position Overview: We are looking for a driven Contract PR & Communications Coordinator who is passionate about decarbonization and addressing climate change to join our team. The primary focus of this role is to help amplify our message within climate and shipping verticals. This role will work with the Carbon Ridge team on the development of company marketing materials communicating to internal and external stakeholders. The role will also collaborate internally and externally on public relations strategies and external releases. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to learn and make a real impact related to climate change and decarbonization. This position will be hybrid, with some in person work at our offices in Santa Monica, as well as remote work. Some travel to Houston, TX and internationally may be required. This position will begin as a contract role, with the potential to transition to a full-time employee.Responsibilities:Material & Content Creation: Lead the development and curation of materials and content for our customer / investor presentations, website, newsletter, and social media platforms.Media Relations: Support media outreach efforts, including preparing media kits, tracking press coverage, and helping with press inquiries.
