Quality Inspector

Description:Qualifications:A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. A two (2) year Technical Degree is preferred. A minimum 1-2 years of experience in a Quality control regulated industry is required, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have knowledge and experience to operate the following inspection tools such as Calipers, Micrometers, Optical Comparator, CMM, Pin Gages and Microscope. Must have the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.Responsibilities:Creates supporting records and reports. Coordinate, perform and report on inspections of materials, parts, and products to ensure requirements are met. Understand the premise of lot sampling. Perform in-process inspections. Perform label inspection. Perform DHR (Design History Record) final review. Perform specified functional inspection tests. Assists with scanning and filing of DHRs and other generated quality documents. Participate in cross-functional teams to solve quality issues. Work both independently and in a team environment. Communicate inspection information to Operations and Quality personnel. Identifies NCR's (non-conforming report) when quality standards are not met and assists in MRB (Material Review Board) activities. Assist Quality Engineers with data-gathering activities to support validations and/or studies. Coach operations staff on Quality requirements. Maintain acceptable standards for attendance and work overtime as needed. All other essential related duties as required.
