Sr. D365 ERP Specialist LOCATION: North Dallas, TX Work Schedule: HYBRID - Employees are expected to be in the office 3 days per week.JOB TYPE: Direct hireSALARYDepending on Experience - Full package includes competitive base salary, and employee benefits.OVERVIEWVaco Dallas is seeking a skilled Sr. ERP Specialist for a direct hire opportunity in the North Dallas, TX area. The Senior ERP Specialist will lead the configuration, implementation, and ongoing support of D365 ERP systems, specifically within the Finance and Supply Chain modules, for a large, manufacturing-focused client. In this role, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure ERP solutions meet business needs, improve operational efficiency, and align with strategic objectives. This position is ideal for a self-starter who enjoys problem-solving, optimizing business processes, and driving impactful system improvements in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience developing test cases, executing test plans, logging defects, and creating functional design specifications, including workflow, validation, and logic requirements within D365 ERP, ensuring that all designs are traceable back to business needs. You should be able to understand and document process flows, integration points, and workflow requirements within the D365 Finance and Supply Chain modules, aligning them with both business objectives and system capabilities. Additionally, you should have hands-on experience configuring D365 ERP systems, performing unit testing, and analyzing business processes to design optimized as-is and to-be workflows within the Finance and Supply Chain domains.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESERP Administration & Support: Provide hands-on support for ERP systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless daily operations.System Configuration: Customize and configure ERP modules to meet business requirements across finance, supply chain, production, and procurement.Business Process Analysis: Partner with business teams to analyze workflows, document "as-is" processes, and design future-state processes for efficiency.Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between business and technical teams, gathering and prioritizing requirements to develop effective solutions.Testing & Quality Assurance: Lead the creation and execution of test plans, identify issues, and ensure high-quality implementation of new features or updates.Project Leadership: Drive ERP-related projects, including migrations, system enhancements, and integrations with other business tools.Continuous Improvement: Evaluate ERP performance and identify opportunities to enhance functionality, streamline processes, and optimize user experience.Training & Documentation: Provide end-user training, create documentation for workflows and configurations, and support team adoption of system enhancements.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS6+ years of hands-on D365 ERP implementation, configuration, and support experience; expertise in D365 Finance and Supply Chain Management is requiredExperience developing test cases, executing test plans, logging defects, and creating functional design specifications, including workflow, validation, and logic requirements, ensuring traceability to business needs.Proven ability to understand and document process flows, integration points, and workflow requirements, aligning them with business objectives and system capabilities.Hands-on experience configuring ERP systems, performing unit testing, and analyzing business processes to design optimized as-is and to-be workflows.Deep understanding of core ERP functions, including finance, procurement, inventory management, and production planning.Proven ability to analyze complex business challenges and deliver practical solutions that drive results.Strong communicator who excels at working with stakeholders across departments to align technical solutions with business objectives.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps.Basic understanding of SQL, data analysis, and integration concepts.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSERP migration and implementation experience in a manufacturing environment.Experience designing solutions for finance, supply chain, and production processes.Knowledge of process improvement frameworks such as Lean or ITIL.In our commitment to transparency throughout the hiring process, we provide a target annual base salary range of $110,000 - $137,000 for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) experience, work location, and skills.
