They sell a wide array of high-quality, specialty tools and products for the industrial, commercial, and construction markets.The PositionThis Industrial Sales Representative will call on industrial and construction accounts throughout the assigned territory, focusing on B2B customers. This is an established territory with ample opportunities to expand the existing book of business by targeting distributors, resellers, and/or commercial end users.Primary responsibilities include:Continually build a pipeline of new business, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities. tailor sales presentations by discovering and understanding customer needs.Monitor competitors and the market for new developments and growth opportunities.Understand the company's product portfolio and lead product demos with customers.Track all opportunity and customer details while accurately forecasting expected close dates, projected deal size, and probability.Work collaboratively with sales operations, marketing, and other teams.Qualifications and Candidate Background The ideal candidate will have:2+ years' B2B of industrial/construction sales experience.Experience selling into distribution and reseller networks in tooling, welding, metalworking, industrial supply, or similar industries is strongly preferred.Strong full-cycle sales skills from prospecting to closing.Results-driven; strong written and verbal communication.A valid driver's license is required.Location This is an outside sales position with a focus on the NYC metro and Connecticut markets.Your information will not be shared with any outside parties without your prior consent.
