The rate is $35 to $40 per hour.Seeking a skilled and motivated Security Systems Technician with experience in commercial security systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting burglar alarm and access control systems, with a focus on commercial properties. Experience with CCTV and intercom systems is a plus.Key Responsibilities:Install, program, and maintain burglar alarm systems and access control systems for commercial clients.Conduct system diagnostics and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance of security systems in commercial settings.Perform regular maintenance and inspections of commercial security equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.Install and configure CCTV systems, including cameras, recorders, and monitors, tailored to commercial needs.Provide technical support for intercom systems and ensure proper functionality of communication equipment in commercial environments.Assist with system upgrades, including hardware and software installations, as needed.Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner to address customer concerns and system failures.Educate commercial clients on system functionality and offer technical guidance on proper usage.Document and track service requests, repairs, and installations using company software.Collaborate with the team to improve system performance and resolve complex technical issues in commercial settings.Requirements:Proven experience with burglar alarm and access control systems installation and maintenance, specifically in commercial environments.Familiarity with CCTV systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting for commercial properties.Experience with intercom systems is highly desirable.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a commercial setting.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Technical certifications or training related to security systems (e.g., NICET, PSA) is a plus.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with IP-based security systems in commercial applications.Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to commercial security systems.Previous experience in a field service or customer-facing role in commercial settings.
