Job descriptionCool Clean Technologies, an innovative leader in CO2 cleaning, cooling, and extracting applications, is seeking a full-time Field Service Technician to join its team. This position is responsible for the installation and service of Liquid CO2 Extraction Equipment for both domestic and international customers.Essential ResponsibilitiesMonitor equipment builds and provides technical expertise throughout all phases: pre-build, manufacture, factory acceptance testing, installation, and start-up.Conduct and coordinate factory acceptance testing and advise staff of equipment performance. Coordinate any necessary corrective actions.Travel to customer sites to perform equipment service, installation, repair, and system training, sometimes with short notice.Provide continued technical service and support with troubleshooting, system training, preventative maintenance, and other support as needed.Complete all required documentation and report processing accurately and within established time frames for optimum support of customer equipment.Assist with equipment setup, testing, maintenance, and demonstrations when at Eagan headquarters.Attend engineering, project, customer, continuous improvement, and other critical meetings.Observe and practice safety procedures and policies.Domestic and international travel is required for this positionUp to 50% of travel is required for the position.Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and passportEducation and ExperienceMechanical engineering, electrical engineering, manufacturing, or related degree preferred with 2+ years of experience. Will consider candidates with alternative degrees/certificates with more field experience.Demonstrated knowledge and skills with piping systems, electrical control systems, electrical wiring, assembly, and testing of mechanical components.Strong mechanical/technical skills and ability to read schematics/blueprints and CAD drawings.Strong project coordination and communication skills for work and collaboration with engineering team, customers, and support staff teams.Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and fix both mechanical and electrical problems.The ability to work under pressure dealing with constraints and be able to adapt to changing environments due to last-minute changes and upcoming deadlines.Proficient in computers, preferably Microsoft office suite.Previous Installation/technical/mechanical repair/service experience.Programming experience a plus.Salary and BenefitsBase Salary Range $60,000.00-$65,000.00 plus CommissionHealth, Dental and Life InsuranceGenerous PTO plan and Holidays401K with match
