Known for their collaborative working environment, good access to information and competitive compensation, they are now looking to add a Portfolio Manager with coverage of Natural Gas or Oil to their US centric coverage team in New York.Key Responsibilities:Portfolio ManagementOversee and manage a multi million dollar portfolio focused on US Natural Gas, or Oil - ensuring optimal performance and alignment with the firm's investment strategies.Market AnalysisConduct thorough market research and analysis to identify investment opportunities and risks within the US Natural Gas or Oil sector.Investment StrategyDevelop and implement investment strategies that maximize returns while managing risk.Performance MonitoringContinuously monitor portfolio performance, making adjustments as necessary to achieve investment objectives.Client RelationsMaintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and insights on portfolio performance and market trends.Team CollaborationWork closely with other investment professionals within the firm to share insights and strategies.Qualifications:Proven track record as an Natural Gas or Oil Portfolio Manager, covering financials not physical trading.A track record of delivering $10mm+ PnL managing a Natural Gas or Oil book of business.Deep knowledge of the Energy trading sectorDemonstrated ability to achieve a Sharpe ratio of 1% or higher.Strong analytical and quantitative skills.Excellent communication and presentation abilities.Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, results-oriented environment.Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred.
