This individual will oversee all aspects of the company's information technology and systems. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CIO will collaborate with the executive team to define and execute a technology roadmap that supports the company's business goals.Key Qualifications:Cultural Fit: The most crucial aspect of this role is the ability to blend seamlessly into our company culture, which values collaboration, innovation, and integrity. A strong track record in managing diverse teams, and driving results is required.Your primary focus as the CIO is driving innovation, managing IT infrastructure, ensuring cybersecurity, and optimizing digital operations to deliver scalable and secure solutions.Key Responsibilities:Technology Strategy & VisionDevelop and implement the company's information technology vision and strategy to support business growth and objectives.Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and operational improvement.Work with senior management on long-term strategic plans to improve, enhance or build new applications that improve business processes and provide greater service levels to our clients and internal Operational departments.Leadership & Team DevelopmentBuild and lead a high-performing IT organization that fosters collaboration, innovation, and accountability.Mentor and develop IT and engineering teams including Technical Support (Help Desk), Systems Development, Application Support, Testers, Business Analysts, Scheduling, EDI, Imaging and Operations, coordinating activities within and between each of the groups to ensure alignment with company goals, and fostering cohesiveness and professional growth.IT Infrastructure & SecurityOversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable, secure, and efficient IT infrastructure.Lead efforts to regularly report on and strengthen the company's cybersecurity measures, risk management strategies, and regulatory compliance practices.Digital Transformation & InnovationDrive the company's digital transformation initiatives, ensuring seamless integration of new technologies into business operations.Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to deliver innovative and customer-centric technology solutions that solve current and future business and technology initiatives for NWA and our clients.Collaboration & CommunicationServe as a trusted advisor on the executive team, offering insights on how technology can drive business success.Communicate the company's technology strategy to employees, stakeholders, investors, and customers.Budgeting & Vendor ManagementManage the IT budget to ensure efficient allocation of resources aligned with business priorities.Contribute to the annual IT budgeting process for some of our clients.Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers to secure high-quality and cost-effective solutions.Project ManagementAbility to lead cross-functional teams and projects with internal IT, Operational business departments and, when appropriate, external partners, driving infrastructure and strategic business projects to efficient and successful completion.Work alongside and collaborate with client consultants on technical infrastructure and business process/application improvement projects for clients.Who you are:Experienced. While specific industry experience is less critical, a minimum of 10 years' relevant experience (i.e., CIO, VP of IT, etc.) is required. A deep expertise in IT architecture, infrastructure management, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.Educated. BA degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field experience. MBA preferred.Successful. Proven history of driving digital transformation and implementing cloud-based solutions. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage and align both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strategic Leader. Ability to think both strategically and tactically, with a long-term vision for company success. Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a track record of developing and leading high-performing IT teams.Change Agent.
