Founding Engineer (Early Stage Startup)

We're seeking a Founding Engineer to work directly with our founders to lead the technical execution of our robotics products. In this hands-on role, you'll engineer, prototype, and test robotic systems, manage engineering milestones, and iterate quickly to deliver a functional MVP. You'll ensure flawless execution and play a critical role in shaping the technical foundation of the company.What You'll DoEngineer, prototype and test robotic systems to meet evolving product goals and requirements.· Produce timely demos, documentation, wireframes, simulations and renders to communicate product development progress.· Research and recommend suppliers, distributors, integrators, materials and components to develop and model business-relevant alternative solutions.· Partner with founders to deliver demos, documentation and updates to customers and stakeholders.· Recruit and mentor engineering talent as the team grows.Who You AreBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics or related field· Proven expertise in robotics engineering, including system integration and rapid prototyping· You need exceptional skills in robotics software engineering, including tools, methods and packages like ROS/ROS2, common Python developer packages for intelligent systems, and software/systems programming in C++/C for embedded UNIX-based systems.· You must have a track-record building complex systems that require multi-disciplinary engineering knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems, especially robotic manipulators, actuators and end-effectors.· You're a high-drive problem solver who delivers results quickly without compromising quality· You see the countless challenges in highly ambiguous,fast-paced, dynamic work environments as an asset rather than a liability.What We OfferA culture of transparency, innovation, and performance· Transparency: Open communication enables trust, collaboration, and shared vision.?· Innovation: Bold thinking and risk-taking are encouraged to deliver breakthrough solutions fast.?· Performance: Your hard work will be recognized and rewarded.This role offers equity as the only form of compensation at this stage.
