Title: Sales CoordinatorIndustry: Apparel & FashionLocation: New York, NY (10018)Position Status: Full-time, permanent (with the potential for one day of remote work per week)Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PMCompensation and Benefits: Up to $75,000/year, based on experienceJob OverviewOur client, a leading wholesale apparel company, is seeking a detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to join their dynamic team.This individual will play a critical role in supporting customers post-order placement, ensuring seamless coordination across production, costing, and design teams to meet client expectations. By providing exceptional service and maintaining strong client relationships, the Sales Coordinator contributes to the company's reputation for excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Coordination: Maintain regular communication with clients to understand their needs and coordinate with production to meet specifications and costing requirements.Relationship Management: Build and sustain relationships with buyers, assistant buyers, designers, and other client contacts to facilitate smooth production processes.Sample Preparation: Assemble and send sample packs to clients, showrooms, and meetings as required.Client Manuals: Review customer manuals to understand their processes, deadlines, and feedback timelines.Color & Material Orders: Manage standard color orders and ensure production teams receive necessary materials, such as colorways, line samples, and artwork, for manufacturing.Order Management: Process and review purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in colors, units, and other details.Documentation: Prepare fabric sheets, recaps, and technical packages, summarizing customer requests and ensuring all stakeholders are informed.Follow-Ups: Coordinate with production and technical designers to ensure timelines are met, informing clients of any delays or issues.Delivery Oversight: Ensure goods are delivered as promised, resolving any issues that arise.Sales Analysis: Review customer selling reports to provide sales teams with insights into merchandise performance.QualificationsProven experience in the apparel industry, with a solid understanding of the production and sales processes.Strong knowledge of fashion production workflows.Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.Outstanding communication and relationship-building abilities.Experience working with major retailers such as Burlington, Ross, BJ's Wholesale, TJ Maxx, Belk, or similar is highly desirable.Interested in applying?If you're excited about this opportunity and meet the qualifications, please submit your application today!
