Our client, a large hospital group, is seeking a Special Education Teacher to join their team out of Arlington, MA6-month contract, could extend/convert, working on W2, with benefitsResponsibilitiesSupervises classroom staff and students in classrooms and milieuHelps develop IEPs, integrates IEPs goals and objectives into lesson planningDevelops, modifies, and implements curriculum to meet student needsFollows Massachusetts State Curriculum FrameworksWorks cooperatively with clinical staff to problem-solve, address student needsSupports student access to sensory diets throughout dayProvides social pragmatic supports to students throughout dayQualificationsMassachusetts DESE certification in Special Education, Elementary Education, or Middle School/High School Content Area (may consider waiver for right candidate)Bachelor's, Post-Bachelors', or Master's Degree in Psychology, Special Education, Education, or related fieldSpecial Ed certification is a huge plusAbility to effectively teach and support students with diverse learning needsFlexibility, team-oriented, problem solving with strong ability to build rapportWorking Conditions:Therapeutic school environment working with students with Neurodevelopmental Disorders.Supportive work environment for educators with ongoing guidance and support from Team Leader and Educational Administrator.Motion Recruitment Partners is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability/vets.
