We foster a collaborative and high-performing environment where employees are empowered to innovate and excel.The Role:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Principal Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and development of cutting-edge custom power delivery solutions, including AC/DC, DC/DC, high-power, low-power, high-voltage, and low-voltage switch-mode power supplies.Key Responsibilities:Design and development of innovative power electronic circuits.Lead projects from concept to production, ensuring adherence to performance specifications, schedule, cost, and reliability targets.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (PCB layout, Mechanical engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Test, and Quality) to ensure design for manufacturability (DFM) and testability (DFT).Component selection and supplier qualification based on performance, reliability, and regulatory requirements.Drive research and development of new power electronics technologies.Conduct cost analysis and generate cost estimates for new designs.Engage with customers to gather project requirements and provide design updates.Act as a subject matter expert, providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.Perform circuit simulations, DFMEA, component stress analysis, reliability prediction, and design verification testing.Prepare comprehensive documentation for product release.Support the resolution of field failures through root cause analysis.Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new engineering talent.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 15+ years of relevant industry experience. Master's degree preferred.Deep expertise in mixed-signal circuit design, simulation, and testing of power electronics systems.Proven experience in the design and development of magnetics (transformers, inductors).Strong understanding of EMC/EMI principles and experience in designing compliant solutions.In-depth knowledge of power conversion topologies, technologies, and control theory.
