Our employees are the key to our success.We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our teamYearly Salary$75,000Key Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesCreate downloadable SolidWorks pump models for Sales/MarketingConvert existing AutoCAD files to SolidWorks when requiredCreate SolidWorks files from drawings which exist only in printed format when requiredUtilize engineering principles to optimize pump performance, durability, and manufacturing efficiency. Work closely with the CNC machine shop supervisor to provide technical guidance on machining operations and process improvementsIdentify opportunities to improve production processes, equipment utilization, and workflow in the CNC machine shop and casting machining processes. Responsible for methods improvements of manufacturing processes to provide most economical means of production. Provides technical support for plant layout, purchase of equipment, upgrade of equipment, feasibility studies. Identify areas of improvement in machining processes and recommend the adoption of new tools, technologies, or practices to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Create and maintain engineering standards, utilizing our ERP systemOrganizes and participates in Continuous Improvement efforts on production programsWrites technical quality and production proceduresMust be adaptable to a changing work environment and competing demandsAttend scheduled meetings and actively participates by providing meaningful input. Work with the quality assurance team to drive continuous improvement in product quality and manufacturing processes. Provide technical support to internal sales/tech team for customers regarding pump designs, performance, and specifications. Participate in troubleshooting, addressing customer concerns, and offering engineering solutions to meet client requirements and satisfactionCollaborate with the customer service and sales/tech teams to address engineering-related inquiries. Additional Duties may be required at the needs of company or customer demand deemed necessary by management for the operation of the company. Basic QualificationsB.S. in Mechanical Engineering necessaryExperience with SolidWorks 3D CAD or similar 3D CAD software necessaryDemonstrable and exceptionable written and verbal communication skillsAbility to organize and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentProven experience and proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)Proven ability to work well with others as an effective team memberBenefits: Medical InsuranceDental insuranceVision insurance401(k) and Company matchLife insurance Paid Time Off (PTO)
