In this meaningful role, you will not only manage Recruitment activities but also provide support in benefits administration, assist with leaves of absence, and lead initiatives that enhance employee engagement. Your involvement will be key in a variety of HR initiatives, as you partner with management to ensure fair policy enforcement and best practices. We believe in creating a supportive and nurturing work environment, and you will play a vital role in helping us achieve that.Position Responsibilities:Benefits Administration:Open enrollment administrationQualifying Event administrationAnswering employee Benefit inquiries on a timely basisConducting quality Benefits orientation presentationsBilling reconciliationEnsuring ACA complianceBenefits analytics/reportingCreate job aidsFMLA/LOA benefits repayment enforcementFMLA/LOA/ADA Administration:Deliver a comprehensive checklist outlining employee responsibilities and expectations during their Leave of Absence (LOA)Effectively enforce the repayment of benefits when neededProactively follow up with employees to secure required medical notes for their return to workFollow ADA compliance and return to work interactive processesEnsure strict compliance with the LOA process managed by our third-party partnerProvide management with timely and proactive updates regarding the status of employees' LOATake charge of maintaining and managing the master LOA tracker with precisionActively enforce compliance with the ADA, FMLA, and all other leave of absence regulations to ensure fairness and support for all employeesLOA reportingRecruiting/Onboarding:Post job openings, screen resumes, conduct interviews and provide offer lettersUpdate/manage job descriptions to meet FLSA standardsMeet tight deadlinesImprove the onboarding experience for new hiresParticipate and lead recruitment initiatives/projectsFollow up new hires to ensure they have a positive experience during their first few weeksConduct new hire orientation both in person and virtually for out-of-state candidatesUpdate ATS or job req reportsProactively provide management with req updatesSchedule background and drug screeningOther Sr. HR Generalist:Hands-on role taking ownership of all HR accountabilities to deliver high caliber internal customer service and supportCollaborates with department heads and takes a business partner approach to identify, assess, and address staffing needs and concernsAddresses employee relations need by being responsive, approachable, and able to gain the trust and respect of the workforceMaintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; reviews current policies and practices and recommends changes and revisions to enhance employer/employee experienceEnforces company policies and practicesPartners with Payroll department on employee day-to-day inquiriesOther HR miscellaneous dutiesCandidate Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree- Human Resources and/or Labor Relations- RequiredMinimum 5 years plus in a HR Generalist or HR Business partner roleBilingual (English/Spanish) Read, Write and Speak - PreferredExperience working in a Human Resources Information System and Application Tracking SystemProficiency with Office 365 programs, OutlookIntermediate experience with Excel (V-Look Up, etc)Paycom, ADP or similar experienceHRIS reporting analyticsData entry experience (HRIS employee data changes)Strong organizational skills with attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to handle confidential information with integrityBenefits:Vacation and Sick leaveCompany sponsored Life InsuranceWork life balance through STD (Short Term Disability)Employee discounts to amusement parks, movie tickets, etcMedical, Dental, Vision401kPaid HolidaysEAP (Employee Assistance Program) mental wellnessCareer advancement opportunitiesEEO Statement:The company is an equal opportunity employer.
