Human Resources ManagerWe have partnered with one of our clients on the search for an experienced Human Resources Manager. This role will oversee and support all HR functions across the firm. This role will involve resource planning, recruitment, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, benefits administration, and employee relations, ensuring alignment with firm goals and compliance with state and federal regulations. Our client offers a competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and people-centered culture.Key Responsibilities:Support the Head of HR: Assist in managing and administering all HR functions, continuously reviewing current policies and procedures, and providing recommendations for improvements.Recruitment & Staffing: Lead the firm's recruitment, hiring, retention, and employee development programs in compliance with employment laws. Ensure the firm's staffing needs are met and maintain benchmarked staffing ratios and trends.Employee Relations: Oversee employee relations, including resolving conflicts and maintaining a positive work environment.Leave of Absence Management: Work with staff to ensure compliance with leave of absence requests and relevant regulations.Benefits Coordination: Collaborate with the Head of HR and Payroll/Benefits Coordinator to manage and communicate benefit plans, including the 401(k) and Profit-Sharing Plan.Job Descriptions & Performance Reviews: Ensure that job descriptions for all support staff are up-to-date and reviewed in a timely manner. Facilitate performance evaluations and make recommendations for improvements.Reporting & Compliance: Keep managing partners and the Head of HR informed of HR matters. Assist with reports and financial analysis as required.Special Projects: Take on additional HR-related responsibilities as assigned by the Head of HR or the firm's managing partners.Qualifications:4+ years of experience in human resources, with a focus on legal or professional services firms, or similar organizations.Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience. Certifications like SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or PHR are a plus.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex HR issues.Excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact effectively with partners, attorneys, and staff.Comprehensive knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and legal regulations in the context of a law firm.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other HR-related software.Interested in learning more about the role?Apply in confidence online or send your resume to: peaveym@ Have questions?
