PROJECT MANAGEMENT Responsibilities Planning and Scope Definition:Developing detailed project scope and develop a Scope Gap Analysis. Request, review, and process submittals, RFI's and shop drawings for review. Communicate status from Architects and Engineers back to subs and vendors.Review all drawings and specifications prior to beginning construction, for design deficiencies, impractical details.Collaborating with engineers, and other design professionals. Budgeting:Work with the Estimating Department to develop comprehensive cost estimates, budgets and bidding. Scheduling and Time Management:Monitoring progress against the Project Schedule and addressing delays proactively. Review Daily Field ReportsEvaluate resource allocation to optimize project timelines. Risk Management:Identifying potential project risks and developing mitigation strategies. Quality Control:Performing field inspections to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, codes and the local "Standard of Care". Implementing corrective actions for quality issues. Contract Administration:Reviewing and understanding construction contracts. Managing contract changes (change orders) including proper back-up documentation. Project Closeout:Completing final project documentation and reports, such as Certifications from the Civil Engineer and Compaction Reports from the Soils Engineer
