We are a venture backed pre-seed stage company, growing rapidly to support our fast growing customer list of top real estate brokerages in the country.We are seeking an experienced and visionary VP of Engineering to lead and scale our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be a strong technical leader with a proven track record of building high-performing teams and delivering scalable, reliable technology solutions. You will work closely with product, design, and business teams to drive the company's technology strategy and execution while ensuring alignment with overall business goals.Responsibilities:Build and lead a team of engineers, including onboarding, hiring, and resourcing.Scope and manage the progress of product development and engineering efforts.Work cross-functionally with Product, Sales, BizOps and other teams in the organization to deliver on company-wide projects.Required Skills & Experience:5+ years of experience in software engineeringDemonstrated leadership in projects impacting large user bases or significant assets.Proven experience in leading and scaling engineering teams, with a focus on delivering high-quality, scalable, and reliable technology solutions.Strong background in full-stack development, cloud infrastructure, and modern software architecture, including microservices.Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams, and functions across geographies.Deep understanding of software development methodologies and best practices, including agile and DevOps practices.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex technical and business challenges.Flexibility to travel to Bangalore, India 2-3 times a yearPreferred Qualifications:Experience in fast-paced startup environments, with a track record of scaling engineering teams and systems.Experience working with DevOps or data infrastructure.Compensation:Base Compensation range of $180-230k base depending on seniority and experience.Substantial equity.
