Architect | Senior Project Manager - Workplace

We have an opening for an experienced Project Manager to join our Workplace studio. This role provides diversity and variety in your day-to-day, so our ideal candidate can work independently and flexibly on multiple projects simultaneously, with an eye for detail and a collaborative spirit. Interested?What you'll be doing:Manage design and production work for the Workplace team alongside Studio DirectorsParticipate in leadership strategies for the studio with a growth mindsetWork closely with studio directors to provide feedback on fees and staffing schedules, prepare additional service requestsMentor architectural staff to make sure projects are completed on time and within budgetServe as the client's primary point of contact for strategic projects, communicating effectively internally and externallyBe involved in all aspects of the design process, from concept through construction administrationCoordinate with team members, engineers, and consultants in a timely fashion, with professionalism and compassionQuality Control drawings in Bluebeam and Bluebeam Studio SessionsOversee the project budgetsGuide staff in the review of technical and code mattersCreate and maintain project management documentation plans and weekly work plans with the project architectWhat you need:Bachelors or Masters degree from an NAAB-accredited institution10+ years of professional architecture experience, ideally experience in Workplace project typesExcellent communication skills, fostering a culture of mentorship and apprenticeship within the teamWorking knowledge and understands the implications of how the design of a project affects BOMA or other square footage calculationsProfessional licensure or working towards licensureProficiency in RevitKnowledge and aptitude in other design software platforms preferred, including but not limited to: SketchUp, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite, Miro, Deltek VantagePoint, and Office 365A desire to work collaboratively with team members in a constructive and engaged mannerExperience managing/mentoring staffThe willingness to travel, as there will be occasional travel to regional projectsWhat we offer:Medical, dental, and vision insurancePaid parental leave401K matchShort- and long-term disabilityVolunteerism opportunities and supportFlex/remote workPaid personal timePaid holiday timePaid floating holidayFlex spending accountCompetitive salary commensurate with experience and skillsBaskervill is proud to be an equal opportunity employer M/F/Disability/Veteran, and drug-free workplace.
