All operational decisions will be conducted within the business plan, budget, policies and procedures of the company.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic LeadershipWork with Leadership Team to establish a Business Plan at the beginning of the fiscal yearManage the operations budget to include revenue, expenses, and fixed asset acquisitions along with justification to be submitted against the business plan.Report on industry changes, local market conditions, and sound strategies for accomplishing growth objectivesOperational ManagementOversee daily operations of the company, ensuring efficient processes and high standards of service delivery across all business functionsManage and mentor team leaders, foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvementEnsure effective project management practices are in place for the successful execution of client projects and eventsEnsure national operational efficiency through resource sharing for labor and equipment in partnership with other MD'sFinancial OversightMonitor and evaluate operation effectiveness effecting changes required for improvementEnsure purchasing decisions and expense spending are within AVFX policies, procedures, and good business judgment.Manage CapEx budget for local office by working with local team to establish equipment needs for that officeWork with Senior Leadership Team on allocation of budget, and alignment of larger company wide CapEx purchases.Maximize the return on the sales executed through the officeClient and Stakeholder RelationsBuild and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partnersRepresent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to promote the company's brand and capabilitiesAddress client concerns and feedback to ensure high levels of satisfaction and repeat businessMarketing and Business DevelopmentCollaborate with VP of Sales on execution of sales & marketing strategies to promote the company's services and enhance brand awareness, locallyTeam Leadership and DevelopmentEnsure staffing levels and positions are adequate for current business level and projected growth according to the business planEnsure team members are provided adequate training to make meaningful progress in their current positions and future goalsFoster a positive work environment that supports employee engagement, growth, and performanceReinforce and champion AVFX company culture Innovation and Industry TrendsStay abreast of technological advancements, industry trends, and competitive developmentsLead the technical team's evaluation and implementation of new technologies and methodologies to enhance the company's service offerings and operational efficiencyScan the environment for new markets and product opportunitiesExperienceAt least 10 years of experience in the audio-visual industry, with a proven track record in senior management roles.Extensive experience in strategic planning, financial management, and operational oversightDemonstrated success in client relationship management, and team leadershipSkillsStrong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse teamExcellent financial acumen and experience with budgeting, financial analysis, and reportingExceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsIn-depth knowledge of audio-visual technologies, industry standards, and market dynamicsProficiency in project management methodologies and toolsAttributesResults-oriented with a strong drive for achieving business objectivesAdaptable and resilient, capable of managing change and overcoming challengesWork EnvironmentPeriodic travel to off-site and out-of-state locationsEvening and weekend availability as needed
