Duties DescriptionKingsboro Psychiatric Center is recruiting an Addictions Counselor 1 to provide addictions counseling, treatment, and recovery services to individuals with mental illness. Candidates from outside or within State Service can apply.As an Addictions Counselor 1 at Kingsboro Psychiatric Center, you will provide addictions counseling and treatment services to individuals with mental illness.Duties include: Completing psychosocial assessments and substance-related screenings. Developing individualized treatment plans that include goals and objectives. Conducting individual and group counseling sessions. Monitoring and reporting on individuals' progress and maintaining records. Providing education and information to individuals families throughout the treatment process.
