Their designs are built on a foundation that seamlessly blends inspiration with functionality.They are seeking to hire an Upper-Level Intermediate Project Designer to work on a diverse range of projects specializing within the workplace sector. In this role, you will play a key role in generating concepts and advancing design development, while actively supporting the project team to ensure each project's successful completion.This firm provides an outstanding benefits package, featuring a competitive salary with potential for a year-end performance bonus, comprehensive health insurance coverage, a flexible work schedule, and much more!Key Responsibilities:Contributed to the full design process from initial concept through final executionCreate, guide, and present design concepts directly to client stakeholder groupsCollaborate with vendors, furniture suppliers, and manufacturers to finalize FF&E selections, ensuring alignment with project budgets and timelinesDefine the approach for team-produced design deliverables, encompassing renderings, finish plans, elevations, and material selectionsEnsure code compliance and proactive construction planning, while consistently adhering to the firm's Quality Assurance ProgramsUtilize expertise in REVIT, along with a strong understanding of construction and detailing, to efficiently generate contract documentsEngage in client communications, including presentation pitches, incorporating feedback into the designCollaborate with general contractors, project managers, and consultants to ensure that design solutions align with both budget constraints and project timelinesPerform detailed markups and oversee the organization and coordination of drawing sets, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project specifications and design intent throughout the processMaintain effective communication between contractors and vendorsKey Skills/Requirements:Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Interior Design or related fields6+ years of post-graduate experienceCertification or licensure is preferred but not requiredNotable postgraduate experience within the workplace design sector is mandatoryHigh proficiency in 3D rendering software specializing in RevitComprehensive experience in producing and overseeing interior drawings and documentationStrong knowledge of codes, constructability, budgeting, and drawing set managementComprehensive understanding of FF&E, joinery, and detailingPrevious experience in creating FF&E RFPs to support the selection process for dealers and suppliersStrong knowledge of interior design elements, including millwork, contract furniture, and a wide range of interior finishesProven ability to excel in graphic design, as well as verbal and written communication, ensuring clear and effective messagingTo apply for this position please click on the apply button to attach your resume (and portfolio for design positions).By applying for this role you are confirming that you agree to our Privacy Policy (full details are shown at the bottom of our website), and that all details submitted by you are correct and to the best of your knowledge.The Crowd is an equal opportunities employer and agency.
