Able to demonstrate Results & effectiveness of the activities.Thorough understanding of ISO9001/ISO14001/OHSAS 18001 requirements.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in safety management/quality assurance.5-10 years of experience in a similar role, achieving results in a fast-paced, challenging manufacturing environment.Certified Safety Professional preferred and/or Certified Industrial Hygienist preferred.Experience with certified OSHA VPP program preferred.More than 15 Years experience in implementing, maintaining & audit of SHE-IMS (like PED, ISO9001, ISO140001, OHSAS 18001, ISO50001, ISO13485),More than 5 years in SHEQ Manager role in automotive industry or similarProduct & Site inspection, but also InvestigationRisk ManagementUse of IT tools like MS-Excel, MS-Project, SharePointPhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times (rarely).TravelOccasional travel may be required.Join us on our journey for a better tomorrow.MissionLead the Safety, Health, and Environmental team to drive the site to best-in-class performance.Lead our ISO compliance efforts related to Quality, Safety, Environmental, and Energy Management Systems ISO 9001/14001/18001/13485/45001/50001.Lead the Central Safety Team (CST) setting the key targets, establishing standards, and identifying strategic initiatives across the company.Lead the Quality process, providing a world class experience to customer, and striving for 0 waste linked to Quality issues from suppliers & operation.Key member of the Management team, ensuring that all IMS procedure is applied by all PC employees.SHE main GoalsDevelop, implement, and track leading metrics of SHE performance for the site.Maintain required certifications and ensure compliance and timely renewal.Strive for on-site ambition of ZERO (0) accident-Incident, low sickness, and minimum environmental impact by taking care of CO2 emission (transport & energy usage), waste level & recycling, limited water consumption.Maintain compliance with all current Federal, State, and local standards as well as understand future possible regulatory changes in OSHA, EPA legislation that may affect the site.Roles and ResponsibilitiesSupervisory Responsibilities:Superior interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and analytical skills.Directing the work of othersCompensation considerationDisciplinary action/counselingPerformance appraisal processCoaching for improvementDuties/Responsibilities:Drive the SHE-IMS processes.Provide leadership information on accident prevention, root cause analysis, hazard management, and behavioral modification to drive a learning organization.Record SHE evidence for auditors, legal & reporting purpose from all departments.Drive the regular SHE-IMS audits with their related non- conformity action plans.Monitor "permit-to-work" system for on-site contractors, the visitor safety process, employee special permit validity (driving, forklifted ...)Implement an effective Emergency and Business Continuity processes able to immediately react in case of SHE issues, in line with laws & policies, to limit damages. Test it and improve it.Build SHE initiatives to prevent and investigate accidents: LOTO, LMRA, MMH, PPE, 5S, FMEA ...Collect potential accident data to prevent them (through CST, KanBan card employee ideas, near-miss accident records ...), Drive investigations, ensure that all documentation is done for corrective and preventive actions.Evaluate the safety risk with concepts like FMEA, to rate the probability together with the severity, and prioritize actions & investments for safety.Communicate quarterly on SHE performance/actions with employees and Managers.To ensure a strict respect of company guidelines, Standard (ISO) & local lawsOrganize internal Audits in all company departments (in compliance with ISO 9001 procedures, effective use of PPE, ...) and react with appropriated correctives and preventives actions.Conduct occupational health and safety related surveys like noise level, ergonomics compliance, exposure to chemical substances ... and makes associated recommendations.Make inspection at suppliers, with records & action plans.Coordinate external support (internal AC Group & external specialized company) to make audits, update on best practices, and regular trainings.To organize effective, SHE-IMS TrainingsLead by example and inspire all employee for SHE activities.Communicate with Employees through "Safety Talks" and Digital newsletter.Put training programs in place to ensure all employees have safety awareness, appropriated to their working environment, with the aim that all employees are at the best practice level for health and safety within their roles, being self-disciplined, and taking care of each other.Carry out regular office safety audits, fire drills, Hazardous accident exercise, risk assessments and further develop safety management procedures in line with industry best practice.Maintain register of staff safety training and competency in conjunction with HR and advise if and when training is required.Provide SHE compliance assistance to all employee, make reminders, and communicate on SHE residual risks.To make SHEQ ReportEdit relevant & on-time SHE scorecards and Monitor KPI trends.Analyze results and find eventual corrective actions to reach targets.Perform other duties as assigned.
