Marketplace is an integral part of Walmart's growth strategy and fast-paced innovation is embedded into every aspect of what we are building.The Marketplace team is looking for a Manager of Advanced Analytics, Seller Risk Management who can use complex data to help our leaders and cross-functional teams make informed decisions, measure success, and influence policy to protect the integrity of the marketplace. You will be responsible for building out a holistic view of seller risk performance, identifying potential risks and supporting controls by leveraging analytics insights and tools (i.e., SQL/Hive/Hadoop/Cloud, Adobe Analytics, VisualIQ, Tableau/ThoughtSpot/Looker, etc.). Some of the key focus areas are onboarding and vetting risk strategies, design and measurement of risk controls that support seller growth while protecting buyers from bad actors. This is a highly visible role as you will be partnering with senior leaders (Directors/Sr Directors) on business and product teams to define and measure the success of Marketplace business. You will make an impact byContributing to high-performance culture delivering multiple projects for Walmart ecommerce Marketplace (3rd Party Sellers)Developing strategy for reporting, testing, analyzing, and forecasting business and risk performance for MarketplaceProviding tactical insights and strategic roadmap for deep analytics to inform seller risk managementDelivering key data-driven insights, translate risk insights into business/product strategyWorking with Product Management to identify gaps, gather requirements, and design data products for risk managementCollaborating on roadmaps with Product, Data Science, and Analytics teams to understand growth and risk factorsDefining metrics to measure team successUnderstanding strategy and operating model to determine right analytic approaches and data requirementsDesigning and conduct A/B and multivariate tests, analyze data into actionable insightsOperating with agility while leveraging corporate structureGaining support from broader Walmart enterprise by engaging cross-functional teams and stakeholdersAutomate data and analytic solutions at scaleMinimumQualifications: BA/BS in Business, Marketing, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)4+ years of experience in data analysis or an analytical capacity in risk managementStrong organizational skills, a strong sense of ownership and accountability, and the ability to lead projects, communicate effectively, and be a self-starterPreferred Qualifications:BA or master's degree in mathematics, Statistics or a related technical fieldBackground in Marketplace Analytics, Retail and/or eCommerce AnalyticsRetail and/or eCommerce industry experience in a heavily data-driven environmentRisk management and application of analyticsNote: This role is open to three locationsHoboken, New Jersey US-10279/Bellevue, Washington US-11075: The annual salary range for this position is $96,000.00-$186,000.00Sunnyvale, California US-08479/San Bruno, California US-08848: The annual salary range for this position is $104,000.00-$202,000.00Bentonville, Arkansas US-09401: The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00
