We are a team of 5 in Boston, and 35 globally across 3 offices. This is a brilliant opportunity for those who want to be at the forefront of the US growth within a business that already has strong foundations and a proven track record in the UK.Led by our Founder, Charlie Walker, who has successfully founded and scaled 2 international recruitment businesses, Harmonic is poised to replicate its exponential growth in the US market. While this role is Boston-based, there are great opportunities for travel within the US and across Europe, plus multiple office launches are on the horizon! In the coming years, there will be opportunities to take ownership of specific parts and regions of the business.The OpportunityIn response to high demand from US funds invested in our UK and European client base, we launched Harmonic Finance Inc in Boston in 2021. To spearhead our ongoing expansion, our Co-founder, Fin Glanvill, relocated to Boston in March 2023.As a key member of our US team, you'll become a market specialist working with innovative tech start-ups who are disrupting the space across Boston and the East Coast's. The role focuses on client acquisition and business development, whilst also sourcing and recruiting top finance talent, enabling the organizations to thrive.The potential doesn't end there - 90% of our Senior Leadership team joined the business without management experience. With plans for significant international expansion, we're seeking individuals who are keen to develop into inspiring leaders, make substantial revenue contributions, become genuine industry experts and ultimately evolve into strategic 'businesspeople'.Key Responsibilities:Responsible for your own business development, client acquisition and running 360 recruitment processes.Build key relationships with candidates in your marketDevelop trusted relationships with Founders, CEOs and CFOs across the US and offer consultation on business and recruiting matters.Support the building of the 'Harmonic Brand' via online communication, social media, company eventsAct as an ambassador for our company values supporting the development of a high performing, kind and respectful culture in the office.Maintain and inspire high standards across the business.The EssentialsStrong educational backgroundExcellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ambitious, driven with proactive attitude - we want people who want to make a tangible impact!An appreciation and sharing of our company values- Knowledge, Respect, Community.Package & BenefitsNegotiable base salary with a competitive commission structure.Quarterly bonus based on performanceAnnual bonus (linked to display of values).Medical cover, including dental, vision and life insurance.1 x company weekend away (paid for by Harmonic!).Company lunches.Incentives relating to music, health and fitness and food.Funded home working set up (we have a 4.5-day work week with half days on Friday!).20 vacation days (rising by 1 day per year of service to 25 days) + public holidays.At Harmonic, we are dedicated to fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace.
