Position: Modeling and Simulation Controls EngineerLocationDearborn, MI (Hybrid Tues-Thurs)Duration: 12 month contract + extensionsPay Range: $32.75 - $38/hourThe role involves creating plant and control models for new vehicle types, including battery electric, series and parallel hybrid, and fuel cell vehicles. The ideal candidate will incorporate these models into sophisticated SIL simulations, align them with prototype hardware, evaluate the full vehicle system's performance in simulations, and collaborate with a team to boost simulation efficiency through software automation.5 years of experience modeling and simulating mechanical systemsExperience using C/C++Experience using coding language MATLABExperience using SimulinkPlusses: Experience working on automotive systems Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
