Specifically, manage and direct the program to increase the BC maturity of departments within EITS, work with the Office of Emergency Management and Co-Operational (COOP) teams, provide oversight to the applications with regard to Downtime procedures, develop alternate site(s) for EITS employees. Critically evaluate information from various sources, distinguish user needs fromactual business needs to optimize the scope, benefits, and risks and provide guidance in the process as to provide increased customer care. Additional responsibilities revolve around the installation and usability of the new Mass Notification System Everbridge as well as installing/owning an alternate workstation communication process.Principal duties: Represent EITS to NYC H+H; Evaluate Business Continuity Management options and assisting in choosing cost-effective and viable continuity strategy that will insure the survival of EITS in the face of a major incident or disruption; Act as the point of contact for Business Continuity audit functions.Duties & ResponsibilitiesGeneral tasks and responsibilities will include:Supervise the business continuity team for their daily activitiesEnsures continuity of service and support to H+H staffManaging the design, implementation, maintenance, and communication of business continuity plansDevelops business continuity procedures that follow our Office of Emergency Management policies and ensure that the meet and exceed the organizations that audit EITSManage team who maintain up-to-date business continuity plans for each department within EITSManage all technical matters related to EverBridge and AlertUs Mass Notification software applications. This now includes the additional responsibilities for STEMI, ECMO, BIOMED-Crothall/Nuvolo work.Implement and manage the ServiceNow Business Continuity Module as it pertains to the Business Continuity team.Manage budget for business continuity team as it relates to consultants, hardware and softwareMinimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related discipline; andSix (6) years of experience in the field of data processing and computer systemsand applications, of which three (3) years must have been in a supervisory role; andStrong technical knowledgeDepartment PreferencesCERTIFICATION(S)/NYS LICENSE(S):DRI CBCP Certified Business Continuity ProfessionalCertified Healthcare Provide Continuity ProfessionalOther Preferred Skills:MS Office and toolsExperience:10 years of IT related experienceKNOWLEDGEABLE IN:Principles of Information TechnologyBusiness Continuity Management PrinciplesEQUIPMENT/MACHINES OPERATED:General Office equipment (computer, scanner, printer, phones)
