Senior Full Stack Developer

The Senior Developer contributes to concept development and design, plays a leadership role in technical design and development, and closely coordinates with technology, delivery, and design team leadership and members to ensure projects are completed successfully and true-to-concept. The role will assist with the process, methodology, tools, and technologies used to take a project from design to completed solution, including:• Development of technical knowledge and expertise, documentation, tooling and frameworks, and process and methodology• Improvement of the way we manage, utilize, and work with internal and third-party resources both local and offshore.This position is a direct hire, full time W2 position. Not eligible for 3rd party representation, visa sponsorship or transfer. Hybrid schedule to Midtown, NYC office 2-3x/week. Responsibilities:Lead technical design for projects / project components.Leader technical requirements definition for projects / project components.Contribute to project functional and user interface design.Project development team management and leadershipPlanning and effort estimationTranslation of technical and functional requirements into discrete tasksTask specification and delegationSource code reviewSource code merging and deploymentCoordinating activities with onshore and offshore teams, third-party contractors, and freelancersStatus reporting to project management.Serve as primary client technical contact for projects / project componentsCommunication with peer technical resourcesArticulation of technical design for project / project componentsIssue communication and coordination of resolution.Contribute to cross-project, company-wide technical solution/architecture/approach improvement efforts.Contribute to technical standards and best practices.Contribute to code quality improvement and validation processes, frameworks, and tooling.Contribute to updates and improvements to company development capabilities, methodologies, standards and best practices including evaluation and education on new technologies, libraries and frameworks; development of and enhancement code build, testing, deployment and management frameworks.Requirements: 6+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on web development.Expertise in front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript (including ES201X and libraries like Lodash), and modern frameworks (React, Redux/MobX).Strong backend development experience with Node.js or .NET, including API development, database interaction, and cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, Google).Experience with a variety of development tools and technologies, including version control systems (Git), build tools (Webpack, etc.), and testing frameworks.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.Additional Desired Qualifications:Experience with content management systems.Familiarity with design tools and prototyping services.Previous experience in a consulting or agency environment.
