Loan Servicing Specialist

Our client, an alternative asset finance company, is looking for a Loan Servicing Specialist to join their team. The Loan Servicing Specialist will perform all functions of operating a loan servicing core system.Responsibilities:• Read and interpret loan agreements and other legal documents. Extract, upload and track all covenants/client deliverables from Credit Agreement• Coordinate document flow between attorneys, borrower, and internal teams• Verify executed closing packages to make sure all docs are present, complete, and executed• Board new loans to platform and manage servicing of existing loans, including handling incoming calls/emails regarding servicing inquiries• Request and review customer due diligence documentation and conduct searches (credit reports, OFAC reviews, LexisNexis reports, UCC). Manage and maintain document checklist• Monitor loans for liens, UCC filings, insurances, etc.• Ensure all documentation is saved in the system and boarded to the platform• Manage syndicate assignments, review agreements, and board new participants• Reconcile bank statements with loan activities and review activities and reports as needed• Send position confirmations to auditors and third parties• Manage Deposit Account Controlled Agreements (DACAs) and reconcile collection reports with bank statements• Add prospects to Pipeline• Support specialized processes as assigned by the supervisor• Other duties as assignedQualifications: • Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience• 2+ years experience in loan processing, accounting, and servicing strongly desired• Computer proficiency at a mid to expert level in Microsoft Office programs; Excel required for related analysis of customer financials• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, managing time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently and within established timeframes• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks under tight time constraints• Knowledge of legal documentation is required
