Position: Senior Desktop Technician- you will be the primary Technician at this location.Location: 261 5th Ave, New York, New York (this will be on site 5 days a week), please make sure this is a reasonable commute.Duration: 6 Month Contract to Hire, this will convert as long as performance is there- looking for someone long term.Interview times: Next week 1st rounds, finals the week following.Pay Rate: $32.00 - $35.00 per hourMust Haves:5+ years of experience in an IT support or desktop support role5+ years of experience with Tier 1 troubleshooting (Cisco or Webex, Teams, Zoom)Microsoft Office products5+ years of experience with any ticketing system (Client uses Sys-Aid)Remedy, Jira, ServiceNow are suitable alternatives5+ years of experience with deskside support (Hardware setup, conference room set up, monitor/desk set up)Previous Audio/Visual technician experienceProficient in Microsoft OfficeStrong time management skills and ability to function at a high levelPlussesĀ·Previous experience with any phone management systemsMicrosoft IntuneMobile Device ManagementActive DirectoryDay to Day:A client of Insight Global is seeking a Desktop Support Technician who can report to their New York location 5 days a week and will function as IT support for the office. Responsibilities will include internal deskside support, in-office hardware set up, and the supporting of up to 200 internal employees. They will be answering a ticketing queue via phone, email, and Sys-Aid. The ideal candidate needs to have good time management skills as they will have to prioritize in-office, deskside support before handling tickets. This position is set up as a 6-month contract to hire.
