We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee Data Modernization Initiative (DMI) projects. This role involves coordinating multiple large-scale projects aimed at modernizing data systems, including the creation of a consolidated Enterprise Data Platform and re-platforming existing applications to a cloud-based environment. The Senior PM will play a key role in enabling data-driven decisions by ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions within scope, budget, and timelines.Key Responsibilities:Project Planning and Execution:Define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with organizational goals.Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.Oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery.Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to address challenges.Risk Management:Identify and assess potential risks, developing mitigation strategies to address them.Monitor risks continuously and implement contingency plans as needed.Provide regular risk updates to stakeholders, with clear and actionable insights.Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure project requirements are met.Collaborate with vendors, business teams, and technology teams to align deliverables with strategic objectives.Facilitate effective communication among project teams, stakeholders, and leadership.Provide project status updates, including progress, risks, and issues, to stakeholders and senior management.Create a unified view of project, program, and portfolio status through rigorous governance frameworks.Documentation and Standards:Maintain comprehensive project documentation aligned with best practices.Develop and document technical standards, practices, and policies to meet the needs of both technical and business users.Evaluate information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and develop innovative solutions.Qualifications:5-7 years of experience in program and project management, preferably in technical or data-related fields.Experience leading complex technical development programs, including data management, data engineering, data warehousing, data analytics, data quality, and systems integration.Proven ability to manage projects using both Waterfall and Agile Scrum frameworks throughout the Software Development Lifecycle.Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of information systems and business functionality.Proficiency with project management tools, collaboration tools, and cloud platforms.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business terms.Strong meeting facilitation and relationship-building skills.Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of Agile principles and experience in Agile environments.Familiarity with healthcare data or cloud platform projects.Strong customer service orientation and ability to build effective partnerships.Certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
