We recognize and value diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.Position SummaryThe Senior Project Manager at RoadSafe is responsible for overseeing all aspects of assigned projects from contract award to final payment. This role ensures the safe and efficient fabrication and installation of structural signage according to the project plans and specifications, while managing the project's financial performance, including profit and loss accountability.Essential FunctionsOversee material and subcontractor procurement.Schedule installation crews and manage necessary equipment.Coordinate and schedule work with project owners or General Contractors (GC).Produce and submit shop drawings and required submittals.Prepare production tickets for sign manufacturing.Schedule and manage material deliveries.Conduct site visits to monitor safety, attend progress meetings, resolve installation challenges, monitor production, inspect conditions, and take field measurements.Track project quantities and reconcile with the Resident Engineer (RE) or Owner.Initiate monthly invoicing through the Accounts Receivable department.Monitor job costs against estimates.Track and manage payments from owners or GCs.Reconcile final project quantities with the RE or GC.Secure final payment and retainage from the Owner or GC.Prepare and submit project closeout documentation, including as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and warranty letters.Marginal FunctionsAcquire project plans and specifications from contractors and owners.Assist with project estimates and bid delivery to owners.Deliver tools, equipment, and documents to job sites as neededPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Drive up to 300 miles for site visits.Climb ladders and scaffolds.Sit or stand for up to 4 hours continuously.Working ConditionsThe role involves a mix of typical office, construction site, and highway work zone environments.QualificationsKnowledge:Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, Construction Technology, Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience.Minimum of 5 years in the heavy/highway construction industry.Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.ExperienceExperience with Illinois DOT, Illinois Tollway, Chicago DOT, City of Chicago Agencies, Chicago Transit Authority, or other DOT agencies is preferred.Software and Equipment Proficiency:Microsoft Office SuiteFoundations Accounting SoftwareAdditional RequirementsAbility to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Willingness to handle fast-paced, high-volume tasks.Occasional overnight travel may be necessary.Pay range $110,000-$135,000 annually plus bonus.EOE StatementWe are an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
